CHELSEA BARRY

Founder & Designer

Chelsea Barry is an interior designer and a rising custom home builder based in Atlanta, GA. What began as a personal quest to design her own custom home to reflect her passion for living and space quickly materialized into a boutique design and build firm. This firm has given her the opportunity to work on large-scale luxury projects. Although she does not possess a formal design education, Barry has innate design instincts. She also has the ability to understand and translate each client's vision, resulting in unique custom designs that are personal and bespoke to every individual home. Her understanding of design function and business allows her to efficiently solve even the most complex design challenges. They say "good design is a language," and Barry's first priority is to provide her clients with a design that speaks directly to and for their home.
Born to two entrepreneurial, first-generation immigrant parents, Barry's bilingual ability uniquely qualifies her to communicate at a higher level throughout her projects. Coupled with an unmatched natural work ethic, this manifests into a creative, strategic, and organized approach for each and every project. As a female-owned and operated business, Barry takes great pride in serving her clients and the community. Nothing brings her more joy than being able to give back to the people who trust her with their most sacred space – their home.
Barry resides in Atlanta with her husband and three young boys.

How two Atlanta families turned their basements into great entertaining spaces

One is dark and cozy, the other light and bright, but both make for inviting places to hang out

Chelsea Barry, their interior designer, says, “The Zulawskis gave me an inspiration photo of an entertaining area that was dark blue and had a secret door to it so that you didn’t know it existed. Their basement was a fairly large area, so we were able to outfit the space with a lot of things: a man cave, ladies lounge, wine room, kitchenette/bar, kids playroom with bunks, a guest room, and a gym.”

A bookcase on the terrace level disguises the secret entry to the blue entertainment space. “Tim had a strong idea of a secret door of some sort, so that got my mind running,” says interior designer Chelsea Barry.
